Why is it that sometimes i can edit my posts and sometimes i can't? I mean, i understand why i can't when there has been replies after my post, but well...sometimes i just can't even though my post is the last one in the thread.

You can edit your post as many times as you want in a 5 minute* period since original post. 5 Minutes only. Of course if you leave your window on the same page for an hour and try to edit, you can.

If you are the thread creator, you can always edit your post.

*I think it was five minutes.

I've heard it was changed to 10 minutes, but never checked it out.
