The Book of Bunny Suicides. Easily the best graphic novel ever produced, by far.

If this isn't inspiration, I don't know what is:

Don't need to say any more really.

EDIT: Yes, yes ... It counts as a horror book. :D

I don't own that book, but I've seen a bunch of the drawings from it. It's good stuff.

Cute, dark, and funny.

Yea im was trying get that zombie guide, i'll have try harder. But funny story. I was in my kitchen and i was looking out my window when a old man was stubberling past (Kinda like a zombie) and because i was trying get that zombie guide and because in How to survive a horror movie theres a kind of survival guide for zombies, it was on my mind. So i just watched him thinking, i wonder or wouldn't it be funny if he was a zombie. So anyway he finally stumbles past and i continue doing whatever i was doing in the kitchen. When suddenly i get a shock, because the zombie man has returned. Hes now standing with his back to me, and he seems to be shaking. I instantly think of shaun of the dead, the bit where hes walking past zombies on his way to and from the shop unaware. But it was ok. He wasn't a zombie just a guy walking his dog, letting him pee or whatever on the grass. Was a funny little shock tho. And i laughed about it after lol maybe in relief.

I don't know if it's horror really but the vampire chronicles are pretty sweet for being about vampires, so i can sort of recommend those books. Other than that i haven't read much horror related stuff.

I finished read it like 2 months ago. Magician was great, sadly the other two books werent as good as the first, still overall was a great story.

Im currently reading Pandora's Star, interesting so far. Not horror though, its sci fi :)

@UrukHaiPT
Yeah, a lot of people have said they think Magician was the best, and I am very close to agreeing. But for me I like all the books equally.
I'm on the third (A Darkness At Sethanon) and I'm absolutely loving the parts with Pug and Tomas searching for Macros. Jimmy's parts are great too. Hell, I love all of it XD

Also I have to recommend Trudi Canavans Black Magician trilogy and her Age of the Five trilogy. I can definitely see myself reading them many, many more times.
