right after waiting for... god knows how long, i got a real nice bloke on the phone, and basicly he said.... after much politness, you gotta pay. but as i told him i will have to think it over due to RL and bills comes first, so he jotted it down on my account for the future

But basicly, i am screwed.

OH Shit. that really sucks. yo could sell a couple of your 360 games which u dont play anymore and pay up the £90 they want. Total Rip Off if you ask me .... Thank god, thank god and thank god I payed for that 2 years of warranty ... if anything should happen, i know it ll at least be replaced for free. Well not exactely free since I payed £60 ......
I am pretty sure the source of all the problems of the 360 is the DVD Drive ... that damn thing just needs to spin so fast all the time!

Man!!! My warranty on my 3rd 360 runs out in June. I'm sure it'll fail by then. I have to spend $50 everytime it breaks. 8 times and I'm through (the price of two 360s total). I'm sorry this happened to you Man. Microsoft should be shot for bringing their Windows quality control to the 360.

I think this shows clearly that the Xbox 360 was a rushed product. They needed to get in early to stick it to sony, now they are sticking it to themselves. I really hope mine doesnt get screwed up anytime soon and the thought of selling it while it's working and then buying another one later is actually crossing my mind right now!

Yeah, that might be an option if MS releases a revised one with bigger harddrive etc.. Current Xbox 360's will probably drop in value then though, so it might be smarter (read: cheaper) to sell it right now and buy a new one..

I'll probably take the risk though and see how long my March 2006 Xbox 360 lasts.. I also had a Xbox from April 2002, and that is still working for the guy I sold it to when I bought my Xbox 360.. So with a bit of luck consoles can last..

Been as though they screwed... and i gotta buy a new 360 end of year (was going to get new one anyway) i decided.... to open her up, WOW so simple to open, and .....so very little inside compared to xbox 1 (yes due to ext HDD) but it looks so WEAK when you look at its guts, kinda like a naked bird... you lose respect.

but get this......................it works (but only for short periods (10-20-30 min) when naked ...

man I think mine is about to die to. Mine is a lunch 360 and yesterday I was playing and sundelly the screem got black with white squares all over the screem and them I got the 3 ring of death. I turned off then I wait a litle and turn it on again and it work perfectly back again. Im scare it is still working fine but I fear it not going to last to much.

erm if you ring up XBOX help line, i think you can buy warrantys of them with a credit card over the phone :D

so IF it breaks do that because if i recall there warranty for 1-2 years os 60 notes, to fix it is 85 notes, you do the math ;)

Niether, i chew copius amounts of nicotine gum :D, and have a combi boiler that heats the house.

But i am moving house soon (main reason i cant afford the 85 notes) so IF it has anything to do with this dodgy haunted house (yes correct my house is haunted FACT! no ifs no buts my house is haunted, my kids seen it, i have heard it and most my mates have heard it and felt it)

Probally a playstation fan lol
