http://gamereports.com/grimages/876/1145724373/3/1...

Its from the oxm magazine no idea why this site keeps doing things like this. Listing Mass Effect as a ps2 game and listing this screen from the oxm mag as a ps3 shot.

Yay, another screen, another thread!

Maybe it's listed as a PS3 shot because, I dunno, because it is?

Just like mass effect is a ps2 game :P

I don't doubt the ps3 version will look similar, but people on a couple sites are saying based on oxm this isn't a ps3 shot, but they since the game is multiplatform they are using 360 shots to represent the ps3 game as well (not the developers) magazines and websites.

Most of what has been shown in bia3 has been actual ingame (all the stuff that looks cinematic) I wont talk about this latest one though because I'm not sure, but all other media before it was ingame.

I am too poor to own a 360... therefor I play with paper statistics. The results of my indepth scientific anaylisis determined the most important benchmark is Pi. As in The Ring of Light.

I think this BIA will focus a lot more on the emotion and relationships of soldiers this time round. In BIA 1 and 2 you didn't really care that much about your fellow brothers coz they just acted like robots and respawned in the next mission if killed. Clearly from this image they are give the soldiers more human characteristics.

Mixed with the amazing cinematic style combat, this game is gonna be the nuts.

I agree Scarface, even the title suggests a tight knit group of soldiers but the only time I actually felt a loss was when that tank commander your character knew from back home got killed.

Full Spectrum Warrior probably had the best feeling of loss because the characters actually had emotions.

Yeah thats true. This time round it would be good if your actions could affect the story and brotherhood. So in each mission depending on who you let get killed and when, the rest of the soldiers react accordingly and the story may change.

That looks incredible. This is easily the best looking game I've ever seen.

Awesome screenshot..they sure know how to show off their game. Very moody--very realistic..I like it when people are bold enough to show pain and suffering of war without holding back on the little things like EA would..like ya know, blood. ;P

I'm still waiting for somebody to fully bring the horrors of war to a game. I want WWII to be depicted for what it actually was; a bloody mess. If you don't show the war for what it actually was, if feels fake. You remember the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan? Of course you do. Now take out all the blood and guts, and what do you have left? A scene that's not nearly as intense and emotionally powerful, that's what.

Violence doesn't always have to be used in an overdone GTA style. If done right, it can benefit a games look and feel.

Many war veterans has asked ww2 dev not to show bloody mess in ww2 games, not only in medal of honor games, wouldn't be supriced if thats the same in BIA serie.

I keep hearing this around here, but where's the evidence? Truely, if that's the case, than I can respect the developers reaction--but there's a time and a place for appropriate violence..and videogames aren't just a childs medium..this is an adult subject, after all.

And if that were true--explain the scene we're discussing--because BIA isn't holding anything back. William Sherman once said, "War is Hell."--and I just think we should preserve its image..War isn't happy funtime, and shouldn't be mistaken as something less serious than it is.

Well alot of people are against it and not many developers will go against the wishes of people that experienced it so... its up to what the developers want to do.

or he's plugging a bullet wound in the kids riblets.

I think making a war game is sensitive enough, making it a bloody mess might insite too much controversy and turn the game into an Adult rating... killing sales (perhaps).

I don't know, whatever. If there's no blood, I won't care.
COD did fine without the blood n' guts and it's perhaps the best WW][ game yet.

There's a nice couple of mods for the PC version of COD that add excessive gore, if you really want it :D

You say we're getting there? Oh, fine.

Actually they even have a war veteran at the dev team.
And also, they have to choose,Mature/Teen,with the mess they gonna lose a lot of money.
