Haha its funny EVERY negative thing they had to say about it I didn't care about I wan the game more than ever. Honestly though you really get a feel for what an amazing job from software did with this game as a launch title. The graphics look SURPRISINGLY good for a launch title and if this is what we can all expect from 360 rpgs then we are in for a treat guys!

Just watch the video this game's environments while not too high on production values still look awesome.

It got a 7.0 not bad, but of all the negatives they pointed out I still don't care buying this game tomorrow :D

I also think that some negative points aren't that negative. Also, they didn't seems to think that the original japanese voices was a plus.

Edit: Ign gave it an 7.6, Im surprised.

Exactly... who cares that they are using a old fashioned dialog system. It would've helped to show people standing around having these conversations in real time, but again I really don't care.

I like the art in the game I don't care about those complaints. I don't mind the battle system at all. I don't care that they randomly place you on the grid. I don't care about the english voices being bad I'll just use the japanese ones.

Seriously though am I the only one surprised by how good this game looks for a launch title? That part at 2:20 in the water is just beautiful.

I always thought this looked pretty average..but I guess it's an area where the 360 is sort of content starved..so it will probably find a niche.

I personally would never give enchant arm a 9 regardless of how good it is. I'd say enchant arm is between a 8-8.5 possibly 8.7-8.8 if the story is good and people can get past the not so impressive production values at certain times.

I just watched the new ubisoft trailer and thought the voice acting sounded pretty good (obviously there is much i haven't heard/seen), Queen of Ice's voice sounded really well suited to her.

Yup, he's now using his psychic powers to review games! In what world do average J-RPG's score 8.0's+ anyway? That would imply GREATNESS--do you really think that this is going to be a GREAT game? 7.0 is a passable score--it's average--it's not suprising.

What people dont understand is that reviews are simply based on ones personal opinion, its all down to personal preference. I dont see the point in reading reviews, just play the game for yourself and BE the reviewer. Who can review a game for you better than you?

The reason that reviews exist is because we don't all have enough time to play EVERY game that looks somewhat interesting..though, probably the best way to get the most out of a review is to just ya know--read the text--not pay attention to some relatively meaningless number.

Recently one of the mags I read..actually can't think of which, dropped scores all together..pretty neat, though a bit bold.

Well, you read the review and if you disagree with something than just don't consider it in the end The score don't mean anything if you don't agree with the why it go this score, you know.

Yea I agree you can't really trust everything to a review..but if you read a lot of a certain writers stuff over and over you tend to get a good idea of what their tastes are like and how they relate to yours..reviews are useful I think, 99% of the time when I buy a game I would have purchased it with or without reading a review first, if I was ya know highly anticipating a title..but a good review by a good writer with a good well rounded review process can swing me for sure.

They did so with N3 and i love it.
Sure it has it's flaw,but the score it gets here?
WTF?!

Remember Famitsu gaved EM 32/40 basically 8/10.
If you like JRPG like they do,then its a great game for you,and you must have it.

The only thing I got from that review is "If you really don't like JRPGs don't play Enchanted Arms"

I was really on the fence about this game because I am not a huge fan of JRPGs and I kept hearing are incredibly average this game was. After watching GTs review I think it looks fun and the graphics are better than I thought they would be.

I just got the impression that whoever was reviewing this is even less not into JRPGs than myself.

Dude, N3 is a bad game. Did you see the scores it got IN JAPAN? It was reviewed horribly universally, because it's universally average..and lacking in features compared to it's closest living relative.

That's not a bad score,and the game isn't bad.
I just got 1000 gamerpoints in it.
And loved it.

I really don't give much weight to famitsu scores--have you ever read the text that accompanies them? Their not exactly stellar reviews. But more power to you if you enjoyed it--hopefully they work out the kinks a bit, if they ever make a follow up..like, multiplayer..that'd be sweet.

Yes,there is no doubt in my mind the game has it's flaws.
However these whiners who whine about no checkpoints.
They should be quiet.
because if you level up or collect armor/items for your character you will get so overpowered that a checkpoint would just ruin the game.

However the first playthru with inphyy is indeed "hard" atleast her last level,and a checkpoint was needed,but when you get better weapon/armor when you replay or gain levels it's just too easy.

It also has it great moment,when you charge the enemy with a big army,and you see big trolls/dragons in their army and you can feel the epic feeling and the music gives you perfekt music.

or when you defend a castle under siege and those kind of missions,they are extremely fun,and myfiee the barbarian kick asss :)

I give the game 88/100.

But i can really see how some woruld really hate this game.
It's very Southkorean styled.
