Gears of War may manage to get someone's attention in europe who knows.

And you believe it...........probably they have, and by that they mean a couple of guys trying to fix a totally messed up gameplay. So really, you are very sure of EA after the crap they have been doing for the past several years, how can you believe that easily?

If it is from EA, let's wait until we see the game and impressions from someone who's not an EA fanboy.

I'm really hoping they can do better gameplay than WE, but I hardly see that happening. Actually, who wouldn't want a mix of these two games? EA brings the money, Konami brings the talent--aside from graphics of course--and we'd all be happy.

I don't believe it I'm just saying what they said in regards to how long they've been working on the gameplay engine.

I don't really care how long they've worked on it as long as its a good game. To be honest it seems the 360 came at a time where devs weren't ready to leave current gen ways of thinking behind. The ps3 basically arrives at a time where more developers are actually thinking about proper next gen titles or maybe devs are forced to think like that for the ps3 due to its cpu? Who knows.

Graphics look fantastic and i haer the animation has improved a great deal, which was one of the main reasons it fallls far behind pro evo.

Could we be in for a suprise hit?

Well ya see this really depends if the glass was empty to begin with then its half full, if it was full and someone took half the water out it would be half empty.

and that question is a simple psycological question , to get a quick insight to another persons outlook,"optamistic or pessimistic "....that was my point ;)

a pessimist would say half empty.

I'd rather have the new engine and very nice looking graphics than a port of the last-gen version. I know we shouldn't really have to compromise but I would imagine building the next-gen assets takes a hell of a lot longer.
