Since 6824 DaysToo bad they mowed over a game I loved in the process, and too bad I can't stand the music in it to the point where I can "learn the beat to win the game!" as they suggest I do. Which is a fantastic idea, and I applaud it! But it's the wrong genre of music for me.
Oh yeah, and it's on top of a game that was doing just fine without it. Grr.

They had Depeche Mode on whilst beating eachother silly.
Now, what a lot of people don't know is that this game is rythm based and BASED ON THE MUSIC THAT'S PLAYING. Therefore I naturally assumed that the custom soundtrack feature would be gone. Not so at all, the game actually adapts to your own playlist, has a full fledged story mode plus a character creation feature just like the previous Def Jams.
I'm off to pre-order this, but first I wanna salute EA for not forcefully using the game as a lobby for rap music this time either, and for creating the first music based fighting game on the market.

How is it music based? The environments move with the beat, but your guy is still a sluggish mofo. I guess I'll go watch on the spot.
