Voice acting was pretty weak. I've heard better (Baten Kaitos Origins), but I've certainly heard worse.

And that "Join" "detected" voice is just retarded.

Okay japanese voices it is. Those voices suck. I wanted to kill myself listening to the sphere video.

Its not like the voice acting is horrid, but those voices sound a bit too old and mature for those characters it's terrible.

I thought Kluke sounded okay, but Shu and Jiro definitely are way off. Shu sounds like he could be a bully on the Simpsons. :)

I was really hoping they would have gotten rid of the "narrator voice" in the English version. Does anyone know if there is an option to turn that off?

Other than that though I can't wait for this game to come out. I've been waiting for a great next-gen jRPG that uses some traditional gameplay mechanics and I think this will fit the bill. Can Not Wait for this game. Release date been anounced yet for the States?

According to Jeux France the french version of Blue Dragon has the japanese language track in addition to english and french. Can anybody confirm this?
