Das japanische Action-Rollenspiel entert den europäischen Markt auf Xbox 360
28. Juni 2007. Exklusiv für Xbox 360 wird ab dem 24. August 2007 das langersehnte Action-Rollenspiel Blue Dragon in Europa erhältlich sein. Damit bekommen auch europäische Xbox 360 Spieler endlich die Chance, sich mit Shu und seinen Freunden in dem japanischen Action-Rollenspiel zu verbünden.
Die Microsoft Game Studios setzen mit Blue Dragon durch eine unvergleichliche Kombination von realistischer Umgebung, Anime-Charakteren, einzigartigen Kämpfen und einer komplexen und detaillierten Handlung neue Maßstäbe im Genre der Action-Rollenspiele. In der Rolle des Jungen Shu tauchen Gamer in eine umfangreiche Blue Dragon-Welt ein und begeben sich zusammen mit Shus vier Freunden auf eine Reise � natürlich mit dem Ziel die eigene Welt vor dem Bösen zu bewahren.
Die Heldentruppe rund um Shu besitzt dabei übernatürliche Kräfte und die ganz besondere, magische Fähigkeit, ihre eigenen Schatten in bedrohliche Kreaturen wie einen Minotaur, einen Drachen oder sogar einen mystischen Phönix zu verwandeln.
Die Entwicklung von Blue Dragon krönt die Zusammenarbeit der japanischen Top-Entwickler von Artoon und dem weltberühmten Spieleproduzenten Hironobu Sakaguchi von Mistwalker. Das epische Action-Rollenspiel lebt von den Charakter-Designs des namhaften Akira Toriyama, der bereits Dragon Ball Z mit Leben füllte. Die Musikkompositionen stammen von Nobuo Uematsu, vor allem bekannt durch den Soundtrack der Final Fantasy Reihe.
