Looking good. Also nice to hear that they were able to carry over assets, geometry, lighting, etc to the 360 intact. Nice to hear... can we maybe get some cross platform play :D

Where they said it was 360 footage? It's not marked and only guy from Nerve Damage they didn't cut anything, but it could be PC footage as well. Still, if any game should be played on PC, it's definitely this one.

I agree, and I'm playing it as well.. but I don't think it's going to do well on consoles at all. It's just not going to translate well and I'm callin it now -- console gamers are going to generally think it's crap when they play it on their platform.Not really, especially with BF2 around, which has many more RTS elements than this game. It's more like, Enemy Territory meets vehicle combat.

If you want an action / "1st person" RTS try out Battlezone for the PC. I wish Halo Wars was a clone of this :(

Didn't say there wasn't strategy involved, there's strategy involved in any team shooter.. it just doesn't have that whole chain of command thing that the BF2 does, which makes it feel a bit more like an RTS. Commander mode is like playing a real time RTS, it's just that you have to rely on your teammates to actually follow your orders :)

It will be a great clan game.. no doubt. I just don't think it's going to translate well to consoles. Maybe I'm wrong.

Good game though.

It's just so different than what has been successful (as far as shooters go) on consoles so far. The learning curve has been a turn off to some in the PC beta thus far, and I'm just not sure it would come across any better on the 360.

Although I would say the run and gun nature of the gameplay gives it a better chance. It's a little hard to articulate -- but it just feels like a PC game. I'd also be a little concerned about their net code.
