Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Naughty Dog. (PS3)

Well i decided make an official thread about this game.
Together with Racthet and Clank is one of the most antecipated titles coming to Ps3, this year.

The game is looking really good, graphics just gorgeous, gameplay pretty solid, the platforming is very nice :D

About the story heres a summary:

The game will be split over 20 chapters.
I readed around the story is about 10-15 hours in length, all depending on our skill, didnt find any link though.

Game is coming November 20 in US, and 7 of December in Europe.

Oh well, i need a Ps3 now :P

Thanks, haven't seen that link before. Can't wait for this to come out. I'll be picking it up on Black Friday along with a PS3.

All I have to say is...this game is AWESOME.
I AM gonna buy it, but unfortunetly it isn't going as planned to buy it in day one with the rest of the game.

Looks like it could be a good game for the PS3, hopefully its solid and scores well, its not for me though after watching all the vids and reading up on the game it just bores me.

Man this game has some beautiful textures.


Damn this game comes out at such a bad time for me its a good thing GTA4 was pushed back to 08 cause like the number of titles I have to pass on this year due to there being a bit too many is nuts.

i picked up a ps3 today myself, seems like a good time since they're phasing out the superior 60GB model. pretty good deal too. 60GB ps3 +resistance + heavenly sword + motorstorm...£350

Good for you Korndog, if only more people would pick it as well. Starting to get abit worried with the PS3 sales.

it is a little worrying. but the ps3 is on par with how the ps2 started out. it was a high priced bit of kit due to the DVD playback which was also new tech back then, and it didnt really kick off untill later in its life.

but it seems worthwhile for me now personally. from the current fave games like resistance, motorstorm and heavenly sword, to future titles like uncharted, ratchet and clank, little big planet, haze, killzone 2 and MGS4 plus the innevitable sequel to god of war and the next game from the guys behind ico and shadow of the colossus. and those are ALL exclusives. theres still the multiplatform stuff thats gonna kick ass (but i will personally pick up on the 360) for a console that apparently has very little games, it sure has a lot of exclusives coming in the next 4-5 months. and thats enough for me. if the ps3 goes the way of the cube in 2-3 years i'll be fine with that. becasue by then im sure i'll have all the games i wanted from the system anyway... and as a bonus i end up with a blu-ray player. so for me personally, while i think the price is still a lot, its worth it for me.

From all the footage out until now, this was the worst for me :s

That level just looks boring... Moving forward-stop-destroy barrrels-kill pirates and repeate :/
Water looks gorgeous, but the water effects on the exploding barrels didnt look as nice :/

Anyway one of my most antecipated games this year :)

the shadows are freaking amazing. im hoping the tourch is used a lot through the game simple to see those stunning shadows.

Hmn.......not bad. It looks improved or is it maybe the fact that we don't see much shooting in those videos?

I think shooting looks very weak. Everything else is looking good.

Yeah, the shooting has always looked kind of weak ever since they first showed off the game. I heard some people say it looks weak because he's supposed to not be very good with fire arms, so it's kind of jerky on purpose. I don't really believe that excuse since I can't find where they mentioned that before though.

other than that, everything else looks solid. Really like the little Indiana Jones vibe the games gives off to me.

I heard that too. If true its a nice touch, if it isnt well.

But i agree, the shooting looks kinda weak, but if its nice and playable i wont complain, because overall, this is looking really good :)

Who Cares about the shooting ??? if the game manages to achieve a good blend of platforming and puzzle solving a la Prince of persia or Tomb Raider then I for one won't give a shit about the shooting :D
