Microsoft has announced its latest financial results, posting a £357 million operating income on revenues of $3.06 billion for the company's second quarter. These results follow first quarter earnings of $165 million. Speaking during a conference call with investors, Microsoft senior vice president and CFO Chris Liddell revealed that the Xbox 360 has now reached a record tie ratio of seven games sold for each console on the market. Microsoft also reiterated some facts and figures first offered at its 2008 CES keynote, stating that revenue from the Xbox 360 from January to November 2007 totalled more than that of the PlayStation 3 and Wii combined. During the conference call Liddell noted that total spend on Xbox 360 in the US during the second quarter was twice that of the PS3 and 27% more than on Wii. No further figures regarding the Xbox 360's install base were offered, which according to previous information stands at 17.7 million worldwide. --- |

2008-02-01 00:56:24 Crackdown did 1.7 million and 700,000 pieces of DLC, it was in the interview where they confirmed they weren't working on a sequel at the time. |

PlumbDrumb Okay, this is wierd. Autoscrolling is smooth as buttah, but manually scrolling is all skippy when lots of images are on screen. (48 minutes ago) -

PlumbDrumb It was flawless with 3.0, but after the update the scrolling is all hitchy, especially across the bottom of the page. Maybe it's the Top Stories section, I don't know... (1 Hour ago)
