I don't care what comments I get, but I did seem to be hyped up for it in this thread after the demo..but hey, peoples mind change...mine did.

I will pretty much just see what the story is about with spoiler videos or something, and I am sure I will get the OST one way or the other so its cool.

Sath, i'm not getting it either.

Yes I was pretty excited for this game after playing the demo a few times. Then I realised, why am I getting this game? The answer: Because no other decent games are out. I would rather save my money for the games I really want to get, and they don't come out till the Fall. The list of my 'must-buys' is higher now than I wanted it to be at the beginning of the year, and there is simply no place on there for Too Human (even though I have access to co-op). So I cancelled my pre-order and am now going to be patient and wait for the big-hitters coming out in a few months.

So possibly a rental, but definitely not a buy. It is a bit of a shame but hey who knows, maybe Too Human 2? ;)

Well I'm with you guys on this one and with all the decent games coming out in the coming months of this release, I think I might pick this one up as second hand or just wait for it to hit the bargain bin.

I rather save money and buy a new game rather keep using money for supporting online for only one game you know.

And yeah no games coming soon are interesting me enough to buy them.

So you are not guna buy it so you can save for games later on ? I suppose that a fair reason.

Personaly I haven't bought a 360 game since Lost Odyssey (I don't think) so I am pretty desperate for a game lol, next month is a good month though :D, this and Tales of Vesperia.

I don't think you need XBL for this game either, I won't be playing it online more than likely.

I decided to buy Star Wars The Force Unleashed for PS3 instead, that suits my play style much more!
And the whole exagerated force powers...etc. totally me!
Like seeing Ryu Hayabusa in Star Wars, kind of like that.

And yeah Jolli, we turned very quickly, I for one went to the dark side, I don't know about the rest of them haha

Well, I didnt turn around. the game has always been on my TBC list and now after the demo, it's staying on my rental queue.

Personally, I wont be buying games until September (Infinite Undiscovery) and tales of Vasperia if the US version is region free that is.

Well I actually had Too Human on pre-order, then realised how many games are higher up on my list: Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, Lord of the Rings: Conquest, Left 4 Dead, Infinite Undiscovery, Prince of Persia, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, Fifa 09 and Lips (don't judge me -_-) are all higher up on my list than Too Human.

Gaming is a big part of my life, but I also have other money-related commitments. Who knows, I may still rent it or buy it when it gets cheap.

Damn that's alot.
If I had money my list would be big, but unfortunetly itsnot.
I might get a job in a electronic shop (answer in August) so, if i get the jopb, I don't have to worry about limiting my games :P

But yeah Too Human went away from my list long time ago, even before the demo.

By the time I know I have money to buy it, I am already occupied with other titles, new ones and better ones.

Look again. The environments are actually pretty fantastic and the art direction is great. A few iffy models don't constitue "very poor" graphics in my opinion.

this game is the result of incompetence from silicon knights, i see no reason why it wasnt ready for the 1st year of the 360, when it would have looked decent and had no competition.

So far all i can say is that silicon knights are incompetent and this games failures are a direct result of their lack of gray cells.

Yes story seems awesome, i for one like the gameplay mechanics, but, diablo 2 had 8 player mplayer, co-op pvp etc... so this game which is so similar should have those features... as a bare minimum.

Also, you DONT need 1 analog stick for attack, 1 should be move 1 should be camera, OR have a locked on camera like diablo, which never seems to fail...

I just dont see how after all these years, this game manages to have so many blatant flaws.

Why it bothers me?
Cos i will get it regardless as it seems like a decently fun hack and slash, i just feel, it could have been SO much more. If SK had any balls, they would sell this game for 20 bux, and work their ass on TH2, and do it RIGHT.

This one I wouldn't praise for its art direction. There's not really any visual consistency. You have a few environments which are eye pleasing and mesh with the enemies and characters in them, then you have harsh contrasts. It's a bit like taking a green screen actor and placing him in a scene without adjusting the lighting.

My August line-up is Tales of Vesperia and Too Human.

Most likely we will get Soul Calibur 4 second hand...had too much fighting games since we are still playing VF5.

Dennis and the team at SK HAD to release a demo to let gamers come to their own conclusions whether they wanted this game or not. So the demo served it's purpose as they should be able to gather what gamers think about Too Human.

But this sort of reminds me of the mixed debate about the reasons why we don't get demos for alot of the games we'd really like. I read last year that devs from Bioware were also against a demo for LIVE download and resisted pressure from Microsoft to provide one.

When you read Ubisoft's reason for not providing a demo for Far Cry2 it echos the same concerns.

"One reason is, even if we were to give out what you played today -- even if we put invisible walls around it and said, 'Here's the demo, you can go anywhere you like inside these walls and play it how you want' - that's potentially right there eight-to-ten hours of gameplay. I don't know too many people who are willing to give away a 12-hour game for free." - Clint Hocking, Creative Director Far Cry2

I see his point but not every demo is going to provide 12hrs of open-ended play. But this was the same point made by Rockstar over GTA4. Deveopers are worried that demos may kill retail sales.

I hear you. I'll be buying them as I play them this year. lol Last year I was buying them without having finished previous games. So I won't be getting anything else until I'm finished with Too Human.
