I know what you mean Grim, but demos also gives us a taste of how a game is gonna be like.
For example with Too Human, they kept talking about a new control scheme, nobody would go and say "its great" when they haven't tried it or say "it's bad".

For example with Far Cry 2...well alot of people have played sandbox type games before, but they could still give us a demo to try out the game.

Demos are always great for any game to let us gamers try it and see how it is.

But the consequence for that is, the sales.

In US you can rent games, but here in Sweden, you can't.
So you have to buy it with full price which is a bit more expensive than in US when buying a game.
So we can't shell out money all the time...however, we can return it back if we have a receipt even if we have opened it and played it.
But then you need an excuse for each time returning it, which is a bit troublesome.

But anyways, back to Too Human, some like it some don't.
But for me, it is always money issue, so I have to keep seeing which titles are a definite buy for me, and Too Human wasen't on the list, so I was skeptical, and considering I don't have enough money to invest on XBL, I know I wont be going through SP more than once.

Damn it, i have just realized that its not released in the UK till the 29th August!, hopefully its not region locked so i can import it.

Well buying it from the US will take time to get delivered unless you pay for uber fast delivery but I guess it will reach you before it hits PAL territories in any case. s'up to you mate.

I dont even care about reviews, period.
If I see something I can instantly know if it is gonna be something for me or not, or I just keep waiting for more media and info.

Yeah! instore. I think the online prices are what you should expect to find within this new deal instore which is pretty pointless, just buy the games online and be done with it.

I can agree at least with the first 2 in his list and BTW it's the worst demos on live. So yeah all time isn't as long time as it sounds...

Exactly.

Okay some didn't like the demo, but a lot of people did. Are you telling me that something like Two Worlds, which is arguably the worst game I have ever played, was better than Too Human?

The guy even says that a great demo produces great sales - Too Human isn't even out yet! I think the guy has let his hate for Dennis Dyack/Silicon Knights get in the way of the article, which no decent journalist ever does.

To be honest I remembered the Two Worlds demo so Too Human have to take the third place on the list.

I don't think The Witcher is just good. It's godly! I know you probably have the game already and are playing it all the time... sorry I have to say that the game doesn't have MP so we can't play together ;)

LOL its terrible, terrible fighting engine, terrible animation and no I would never spend my hard earned money on such trash.

I just find it hard to believe you give this game a hard time yet seem to think the witcher is good, I guess it must be because you are a PC gamer, I imgine if this was a PC game you would be all over it ;)
