Yup I got the Asian Version Saturday, I haven't had chance to play it properly til today.

I don't like it as much as I liked the demo if the truth be told lol.

The first area is mega easy and the next area is hideously hard, enemies come at you in hordes, that just smother you and you can't last long like that especially when you have one or two higher up enemies shooting you from a distance aswell.

At one point I must have died 5 times in the space of 3 minutes.

If you die you lose your combo meter but they just throw you back in where you died, so it basically screws you over from the start.

hmmmm, that doesnt sound fun. this is one of the reasons I hate the combat in this game .... just directing the stick at an enemy and let him do the work is a hands-off approach I despise. It's the exact same reason I hated FF12.

When games nowadays thrive to actually make you part of the experience and increase your control over what to do, others seem to look totally the other way.

Either way, I stand by my word, I want to give the *TRILOGY* a chance hence I am getting the game but if Silicon doesnt get its act together in TH2, I will be one pissed consumer.

alimo: The combat is nowhere near that lazy after the first level, you actually have to start varying it up quite a bit or you will get murdered in seconds.

What exactly are you having trouble with Jolli? First time through is going to be hard no matter what, but you do have to take each encounter and enemy type as they come. The priority for me is always, missile launching enemies, then troll hammers (or the troll themselves if I can get rid of the head armour with a finisher) and then the fodder. Later on you get the new enemy types but I won't spoil those :P

Boss battles are the biggest let down for me, it seems they've tried to be "old school" by having different phases but failed to make it clear what you should be doing. I'm not talking about flashing arrows or glowing areas but maybe Balder could vocalise a little hint to us.

May be cos I shoot them and when my combo metr grows up I use stopping ruiner and do finishers while they were stiopped for a while

I died a lot in Helheim when big fat guy apeared and I didnt know that he enchanted enemies. Only when i realize that I must kill him furst I done with all bad guys there.

btw if U dont want to take demedge from blasts - roll. it work like ninja gaiden1. and when u fight with cold or fire or time or poisend or other enemies just jugle them and kill in air standing on flor with guns

Maybe I just suck at it lol, I duno I find the combat really weird TBH, I'm finding this game harder than Ninja Gaiden :S

The thing is you can't always go after the missle launchers because you get swamped with those green fuckers, duno what they are called, im on the 3rd level now, think I'm level 22

I'm having fun but its kind of frustrating how fast you can died sometimes and its like wait, what ... huh.

Don't get me started about Posion and frozen status effects.... Why they couldn't have added potions and healing items in this game I will never know.

I found Tod to be quite easy.

I played Bioenginer and I have medipack battlecry(it also heal status effects) and regeneration skills ^____________^
this skills heals me and all party

BTW how many hours have you guys played so far and how many deaths ?

So far I'm 9 hours 30 and only 52% complete :P, 45 deaths.

So much for only lasting 10 hours.

That was my plan all along :) I knew Bioengineer was the one to suit me. I like playing as mages and this class is the closest :D

The only problem I had with the Bio Engineer was that early on the -25% modifier to damage really makes some battles a slog. Best to max out either the 1 or 2 hand skill as soon as possible to make up for it.
