2008-09-09 14:43:43 In reply to Slabs (2008-09-09 14:26:24) Not only is the camera and dialogue questionable during cutscenes, but the animation and direction all together are pretty poor. --- |

2008-09-09 15:08:52 Personally I found any cutscene involving Thor to be horrifically bad, Loki at least has an intimidating air about him. Thor just appears to be a bearded retard with a big hammer. Especially the scene where he 'dies' and lets out the most idiotic scream I've ever heard. I guess the excuse could be that it wasn't really Thor, but it WAS his voice actor! |

2008-09-09 17:39:38 Ok, Just sold my copy of Too Human on Ebay. After about 7 hours in, I simply couldnt stand it anymore. With all due respect to all who enjoyed it but honestly, this game is a pile of nonsense. An abysmal attempt and a failure for Microsoft Game Studios. --- |

2008-09-10 18:18:35 just completed it (11 hours) and it was a pretty shoddy game. camera and combat where the main offenders, but animation, voice acting and story wernt up to much either. and that valkyrie death animation is burned into my mind thanks to the fact you cant skip the damn thing. i cant see how silicon knights can fix it for the sequels tbh, other then starting completely from scratch (and it taking another 10 years) |

2008-09-11 00:55:38 In reply to KORNdog (2008-09-10 23:23:00) I don't think the colour runes are that expensive though. My beef with the loot gathering is that except for the 2 red(as in rare...not the actual colour) items I've found, I just found the exact same armour sets and weapon as my roommate did on his playthrough. So much for character customization. --- |

as for the class i chose - berzerker. i dunno how you can reach lvl 50 tho. it'd kill me. i'd maybe able to endure if i could skip that god damn valkyurie death animation, but you cant...its like 25 seconds long from dying to respawning, the music, the clipping issues, the animation.... its enough to make a person crazy. |

2008-09-11 03:39:00 In reply to Archaos (2008-09-11 01:54:45) I didn't really have much trouble with amassing a nice little fortune; at a certain point, crafting new weapons and armour really wasn't worth it, so I ended up selling almost everything I picked up. Colour runes could have been 10k a piece, and it wouldn't have been too much. Posted by Archaos
I have a level 38ish berzerker. I don't even know if I'll make another character because almost every aspect of the game is so incompetently done. --- |

2008-09-15 11:14:48 In reply to Slabs (2008-09-09 15:08:52) I've finished my first playthrough yesterday and I really enjoyed it (Lvl30). I think the art design in this game was fabulous, from the looks of the high-tech dungeons, the architechture outside (statues everywhere) the regular stages - everything had that awesome touch to it. My favorite stage was Number two, then four, then one and three. --- |

2008-09-15 11:21:44 I also don't like the fact that nowadays game heroes often tend to look like their producers (Baldur ---> Dyack). Talk about over-featuring here ... I already disliked that in Gears of War (though it's not as obvious as it is in Too Human) ... --- |

2008-09-15 14:54:33 Umm....you do fight it, or at least something like it. Isn't that where Tyr dies by suicide-bombing the thing in the mouth? --- |

2008-09-15 15:21:06 In reply to Ronsauce (2008-09-15 14:54:33) You mean that doggie-hedgehog-opossum hybrid? aha ... interesting ... but come to think of it, it can't be. Because if it was that thing, they would have shown that scene where it "roars" as in that picture, don't you think? --- |

2008-09-15 17:22:49 one thing that bugged me about the mix of sci-fi and norse was how baldur looked like he'd stepped right out of a modern day sci-fi movie, yet every other character retained the old school plate armour and fur combo. it was odd seeing them all together in cutscenes where you have everyone in gold and black armour with furry bits, and then there was multicoloured plastic suit baldur...lol. very odd. |

2008-09-16 13:14:34 I happen to get the Too Human OST and I think a few tracks are good, 3 of them are my favorite ones, very good! --- |
