SE always go quite about their games, the only time we hear about them is when they show something to the press (famitsu) or at a game show.

I would expect to see a lot from SE this year at E3.

Looks great to me, especially that trailer on XBLM, graphically far superior to LO and the combat system looks very original, I'm really looking forward to it.

Sorry but the graphics are not better than LO, you need to look again, art style maybe, but graphics have pretty low res textures and polygonal models.

I do expect good things from it though, sounds like its trying something new which is always a good thing.

I wasn't that impressed with the graphics. I wouldn't say it has better art either.

If anything the artstyle might be what I dislike most about it and the combat just looks.. I don't know weird is all I can say. I hope they nail whatever it is they are trying to do.

They definitely appear to be using the UE3 engine better than Mistwalker did (then again it isn't like Feel Plus and Mistwalker didn't do an amazing job. I'll also admit the game does have seemingly better looking environmental graphics than Lost Odyssey does and there are aspects of the art that are definitely represented better than they are in Lost Odyssey, but the overall look isn't quite as appealing as Lost Odyssey's style imo.

I hope to be very impressed with what I see when they are ready to show more of it.

Dont know how new the trailer is but it seems alot of people havent seen it considering the responses i'm seeing, it clearly looks better than LO graphically. Better lighting, textures and theres a whole lot more going on at a time than there ever was in LO during battles. Although I do prefer the art direction of LO (Human looking people), this game definately looks more impressive.

Odd that I prefer Anime style art direction which this game has, yet it doesn't appear to be graphically superior to LO IMO.

The last trailer I saw was, this one

It looks good, but im not convinced all that is in game, the actually battle models don't look anywhere near as detailed as they cutscene ones, the big elemental/summon looks cool though :)

HOLY SHIT! i never saw tha trailer thanks! but still I think it looks just as good as lost odyssey but definately not better but this trailer is 6 monhts old so it might be looking better now.

Yea i saw that ages ago I thought that was the old one, it does looks good, but there is a lot of cutscenes in there I think.

If you look at the first part it appears to be CGI then when he stands up and the enemies are around him it looks like it switches to real time, not that it matters (LO did similar), It's still looking great to me, and I have to admit I am liking the art style more in this than LO.

Hoprfully this comes out soon as I have been a bit starved of games since LO.

I prefer the character faces on LO, I'm just getting kinda tired of that FF look where guys look like girls, its not so bad in this but they still look too femenine. I do however prefer the art style of everything else in this game tho, it all looks fantastic!

well that trailer has really peaked my interest in this game, looks all realtime/in-engine to me nothing there that cant be done on this gen consoles, and fmv would look alot better, 6 months old could be looking much beter when shown at E3?
