WOW, I think this one is gune be something special :D

The lighting reflecting off the characters skin is a bit funky looking though, hopefully its the video :S

It is turn based but you control more than one party, I'm guessing its like Final Fantasy meets Dynasty Warriors :P

Yea there was a interview a while back where the developer said the battles would be like a war played out on a battlefield.

They weren't sure how many parties you would control at one time though, as it could become too taxing on the player, they said possibly upto 5 though.

Yeah, it'll play up like JRPG + RTS which is a very very nice combination when it comes to my taste in games. Really looking forward to it

Hmm very interesting. At first I was like what the heck is going on here, but the moment I saw the choosable options, I started to think hmm this looks a lot better than I would've originally expected.

Absolutely, it seems to be doing so many things differently to the turn based formula. Lost odyssey did a few things but it never managed to completely re-invent it. This one could very well do that.

From the 4 minutes trailer that was released a few days ago, the story looked pretty good.

Bring it on Square and watch out Mistwalker!

But this bit has me hopeful.
We really enjoyed what we got to play so far, even though we didn't get a chance to tinker with squads and see how the story unfolds. The battle mechanics are fun and there seems to be a lot you could do to customize your own perfect battalion.
