Maybe I missed these before, but there are quite a few gameplay videos of IU up on the official site.

One showcasing some battles during the situational battle involving the tsunami.

Remember that random slowdown every single time he swung his sword? The intentional slowdown is still present, but remember the performance issues when he was breaking down barriers before or simply just swinging his sword at anything? 100% fixed now. Go check the situational battle 1 video like the one they put up on inside xbox on jp markpetlace. It's much faster than it was before without the slowdown every single time he swings his sword. I was hoping they would improve that.

Go to the Open Nav dropdown menu and choose gameplay. Quite a few gameplay videos. You even see the big octopus fight.

They show some night time detection video with you sneaking up on enemies and some normal battles on the field. Check it out :)

I'm just glad they fixed the more ridiculous pointless slowdowns in the game. Things are looking up.

A very cool looking spell from michelle. The pages that surround capel look great and I also love that rock spell I saw, not sure who used it.

From 1:08 to 1:10 in the extended trailer has to be one of my favorite parts. The combat looks really cool spread out like that with all the action going on.

The character they showed right before that scene, Toma, is definitely one of the cooler looking characters. I'm glad they decided to make him the one that knows about Sigmund's childhood. I wanna see them do a fantastic job with that character.

Wow I just realised how much the battles look looking like FF12, except its proper real time.

Even the music in that video is similar.

Too much shouting out his moves, I hope you can turn this off in the options, and his footsteps sound pretty crappy.

The new systems are Comrades and Personal Skill.

Comrades members of the resistance that aren't main party members. This means you can't put them in your main party, but they can be put into sub-parties. They have stats and skills like any other party member as well, so you can use Connect on them while in towns and villages to use their personal skills or to initiate Private Events with them.

Personal Skills come in 4 varieties. Titles, Special Triats, IC (Item Creation) and CS (Connect Skill). Titles indicate what the character is good at and things he/she has a reputation for. I don't think it affects gameplay at all. Special Triats are parts of the character's personality that influences gameplay. For example Aya is afraid of reptiles, so when there are reptile enemies in a battle, her stats will decrease and she'll refuse to target them. Some Special Triats also indicate that certain characters prefer certain other members in the party, and when that character is in the party, their stats will be boosted.

Some characters have an IC skill, which allows them to create certain types of items. Connect Skills are skills that are used by connecting with the character, but are not battle skills. An example given is that Komachi has a "Dismantle" skill, which when you connect with her you can use to disarm traps or pick locks.

Same. It will be interesting to see how good a job they did at planning around all the various character skills and traits.

It's also pretty cool that who you have in your party will have an impact on the stats of a specific party member. Can't wait to see how the characters interact.

Just saw a commercial for this game on Cartoon Network. Didn't think it would have one.
