I wouldn't see why not. I mean it's obvious now that "only possible" on PS3 PR BS was just that. People said the same things about VF5 and DMC4, and well, yeah. I mean the only thing they could possibly say now, is only on 1 disc for PS3 ;p

a bad day for PS3-only fanboys ... some of them on GAF hoping that nothing got cut/reduced/altered in any way/shape/form to bring the game to the 360 ... the nerve ... seriously

Its all marketing. When it was PS3 exclusive they were just trying to sell the game. Remember when Sakaguchi said the white engine is a multiplatform based engine? I guess he wasn't wrong at all.

I don't know why its Japan exclusive though. If it came to on 360 in Japan, I think it would sell more consoles. And apparently they're still developing on PS3 first, then porting it to 360.

Damn I could. (5 disc maximum)

I think you are forgetting that America will be getting this several months before Europe (at least from what I can tell), which means PS3 import looks quite a nice prospect for those that are impatient (ie me)

But of course I will be getting the JP version on PS3 first no doubt and then US version on PS3 because of what I mentioned above.

Edit :- Plus there will be the PS3 tales of game and White Knight Chronicles also, so PS3 is still a valid platform for me.

Well yeah but I guess Sony has made a deal with SE to keep it exclusive in Japan. It's their only chance against the Wii over there.

The PS3 has been selling really poorly in Japan. MGS sales, albeit very good, are simply not as good as they used to be on the PS2 and didnt shift much hardware either. MGS4 has sold only 600k up to now when it usually had hit a million in previous installements within the first week!

The JP market has definately changed a lot and it seems it's all about casual gaming and the domination of the DS. the PSP isnt doing that bad either lately, I must say.

Well yeah, of course I didnt mean 10 or 20 disks, it would be stupid if it was 10 given that a dual layer dvd holds about 8GB and 10 disks would be about 80GB which is more than a Blueray. I definately think it wont be more than 4 dvds a la Lost Odyssey.

PS: what the hell happened to Mistwalker ??? where is Cry On, where are the announcement of LO2, BD2 or is MS saving this for next year I guess which makes sense given that we're getting 3 JRPGs in 3 months this year: IU, Tales of V & the Last Remnant.

Star Ocean 4 will be hitting next year followed by perhaps Cry on and either Blue Dragon 2 or Lost Odyssey 2 at the end of the year with FF13 hitting the console maybe in 2010 - Man!! are we lucky this gen or what, so much to look forward to. I couldnt be happier :D

You're right, the PS3 has still some brilliant JRPGs going for it, White Knight Story which looks great not to mention Final Fantasy 13 Versus!

There is guna be a very long wait between the PS3 JP version and he US/European PS3/360 releases.

They say they won't start 360 development until the JP PS3 version is complete.

Yea, well they better get to it then. Hey, maybe it was on 360 all this time, but because of PS3 a pain in the butt to program for they decided to finally mention it now? haha

Anyway, I found this on the web:

Yea they said its ATB, which could mean pretty much anything lol.

Once SE started playing in the waters of Wii and DS it was only natural for the SE to head into the 360 as well

I feel like there aren't enough PS3 console owners that will buy their software at the moment. It may be an assumption but I feel like most of those who own a PS3 is for the cheap Blu ray function and not for the games. That's just me though. (why I think this move was made)

I wonder where all the Sony supporters are right now on here? Anyone notice they have disappeared on Gamersyde? I expected flaming going on
