Really charming, lots to do in the game world! Not that impressed by the graphics engine, but it looks good enough and the game itself seems to be excellent for what it is.

I think the graphics look excellent but yea the pop in does detract from the overall look, I realy hope they short that out before launch.

Looking good so far (bar the pop-in).

MS sure knows how to empty a mans wallet. There are too many good games coming out in the last quarter of this year.

Might have to sell myself to raise some runds. lol

My chaotic thoghts on the game:


I'm playing through Ninja Gaiden 2 right now and you've got to give it to Team Ninja, that after ninpos in NG2 magic in other games looks lackluster - I was so disappointed when I first saw magic used in Fable 2! But that's ok, it's not what the game's about.

I have to say I didn't like the first Fable. The combat was pretty funny, artstyle was cool, but other than that it was pretty shallow and often annoying experience. They did fix my biggest gripes from the first game though - now the world is open there is actual exploration in the game, unlike Fable 1 where you had tiny areas and loadings every two minutes. Also dieing in Fable 1 was pretty annoying as you had to recollect all the orbs and money, fighting against the same enemies. I didn't really interact with people in Fable 1 - yes, I got a wife and beated her, but that took like 5 minutes, other than that there wasn't anything cool about it. I wonder if they made it more interesting and satisfying now. I don't really see myself playing all the minigames, I always though Splinter Cell had perfect minigames, but I never liked them in games like GTA or Dragon Quest. Though fishing was cool in Fable 1. I hope there are some (a lot) traditional RPG fixed subquests despite the game's philososphy that you create your own story. Also, I want many crazy challenges similar to the chicken kicking from the previous game. :D

in the gamespot vid, did a woman get on her knees and suck the main character off? she definately got on her knees, and he checked her stats and there was this uncomfortable embarrassed laugh and a "oh, maybe its best not to pick this woman" so they chose someone else?

hey, it may not have been what it looked like. but there was certainly something going on to get that sort of reaction from peter live on air. maybe she was just on her knees gently nuzzling the main characters crotch? like a dog? either way it looked very odd...lol
