Mass Effect 2 - 2009 Trilogy Exclusive to 360?

Not to bothered about it staying 360 exclusive, too excited about it possibly arriving next year!!! :D

In the just released September issue of Australian 360, comes the commitment of Bioware CEO Ray Muzyka “to bring the Mass Effect trilogy exclusively to the Xbox 360″.

Speaking exclusively to Australian 360 at EA’s European Showcase, Muzyka also stated “we said we were committed to supporting Mass Effect as a franchise and have the trilogy on the Xbox 360, and that’s still our goal”, before adding to the question of the trilogy staying exclusive with what appears to be a subtle jibe at Sony, saying “we’re always very ambitious in our goals and the most important thing is quality, so we’re never going to compromise that.”

But beyond all the console positioning and future IP speculation are some juicy details for the current trilogy that should get fans excited for what appears to be a 2009 release for Mass Effect 2.

Wait me NEVER!, as soon as it hits i'm there!!, Bioware have learn't allot of lessons from ME1 and ME2 will be as sweet as pie :)

Duno i never had framerate issues... obviously not as good as pc that gets over 80... but on 360 seemed like a smooth 30 for me. I might wait for the PC version tho, cant afford to buy both.

I had a few but no more than most games out there, and it did not spoil my enjoyment one bit, You prefer pc gaming so i guess it fits better for you, but i love the console, so when it hits i'll be there.

I experienced quite a lot of texture pop in, but the framerate was smooth as butter for me. :)

You can carry your character from Mass Effect 1 over to 2 right?

I hope they don't give you limitations on the face customization, and the armor looks (yes they looked pretty much the same), same goes with weapon designs.

But yeah, I can't wait for Mass Effect 2 :)

I'll wait for PC version. ME on 360 had too many issues and PC version was released faster than I thought it would. I can wait this time.

DC, I remember they said that you can carry your character form previous titles to the new ones...like Too Human.
Bad new for me is that, I don't have ME left nor my game saves haha.

Aaaah, I still have mine saved. It's great that you can carry your character over - mine looks like a 24-year old Bruce Willis who has just had a shave.

He's a stud I tells ya, a stud.

In fact, I think I need to go and play ME again - ya know, to get to grips with the story again (and for pure enjoyement as well, obviously).

Given the size of my back log, I don't know that it will be especially difficult at this point. We'll see though. I know I wouldn't wait for GOW2 on PC, but that's partially because the online community on the 360 will actually.. ya know.. exist.
