I'm running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate now (official OEM version, clean install).. My current hardware is a Intel Q9550 (quadcore @ 3.41Ghz), 4GB of 1336Mhz DDR3 memory, on a Asus P5Q3 motherboard, and with 2 new Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB harddrives in RAID-0 (1TB total space).. Graphics card is still the Gainward (Nvidia) GTX 275..

I have to say, it runs like a dream! My whole PC boots withing a minute.. Most drivers were installed automaticly.. And all my games seem to work fine.. The overall performance when surfing the net etc feels faster then my old WinXP install with the same hardware, games performance is the same I think.. I think Windows 7 is here to stay (just like WinXP was for many years)..

Vista and 7 ftw! Both are definitely a lot better than XP. I installed both Vista and XP to my PC when I got it. I only used XP to play Dungeon Keeper 2. Only game I couldn't get to run properly on Vista. 7 runs it fine so I don't have any need to use XP anymore.
