Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Since 6460 DaysThey act similar to the first game, harmless until provoked. A Big Daddy's duty is to protect it's little sister, nothing else, and as far as I know there's no such alliances between Big Daddy's. And although you yourselft are a Big Daddy and are stronger, now you have the Big Sister's (yes, plural) to deal with, who aren't slow, lumbering juggernauts but are quick, agile hunters who will get you if you aren't careful.
It will feel different but I think 2K have thought about this carefully so as to provide difference, more challenge yet still keep the integral Bioshock feel, and although I was worried at first, I think they'll pull it off.
Also, what would be the point of the first Big Daddy being mentioned in the first game if he isn't key to how the first game's plot pans out? Maybe if you were getting told more of a history of the BD's by Tenenbaum, but again there was no need for him to be mentioned so he wasn't, conveniently leaving a nice little niche for 2K to base their sequel off. I assume this isn't how they planned at the time, it just happened to occur.
*Again, all the above is the latest I have heard, maybe a week back, I assume this is all accurate. At the very least the most part of it is.
Since 6092 DaysBeing the very first big daddy means that you have free will and of course, the ability to use plasmids. That makes you much more powerful than a regular big daddy. In the first game we found out that big daddies are not some sort of Frankenstein-monsters. They're created from regular male infants. Mutated via genetic engineering, and then heavily brainwashed to see no other purpose in their existence other than protecting a little sister. The first big daddy however hasn't been brainwashed or at least not successfully, so you are practically a regular person in the body of a big daddy.
The big daddies are your enemies again. They protect little sisters which have adam, and you want more adam. Simple as that. BUT, I hope the plasmid "Hypnotize Big Daddy" makes its return, even though you're one yourself. It was so great in the first game to find yourself a lonesome big daddy, hypnotize him so he thinks you're his little sister, and then watch as he beats up some splicers. It was also cool to piss off one big daddy while you have another on your side, then watch the two of them fight to the death. Ahh the memories.
I think BioShock 2 is for me. When I first played thorugh the first one, in the second level named Neptune's Bounty, I saw that big daddy through a window, seamlessly walking by at the ground of the ocean, I was like "Wow, I hope I can do that at some point in the game, I would feel even more like I'm in a screwed up underwater city if I was able to step outside".
I'd like to put an intellectually rich and entertaining line of text in here but I'm too stupid for stuff like that.

Since 7520 DaysThere not going to change its core to much
Imagine for instance you go for a "balti" and you love that "balti" later on down the line you will think oooo i could could just eat a balti right now, you go out and get one
Low and behold when you bite into it you get a cheese and jam sandwich
When you complain they say " we changed it to keep people happy"
Get my point here...
I think i have stood in poo

Since 6905 DaysAnd it seems that you are, as a PBD, a normal human being sealed in a suit - sealed, but not grafted into it, like the regular BDs, which were essentially a bunch of organs grafted into the suits.
Since 6092 DaysI know you're wrong, because in the "Alone Among The Dead" trailer from BioShock 2, you can clearly see an enouncter with a suit-less big daddy. He's basically a massive, deformed human, just like I would have expected a big daddy without his suit to look like.

And general knowledge from the game itself:

http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Failsafe_Armored_Es...
It is widely understood that big daddies are pretty much inside of a human body grafted inot the suit, also on the official forums for the Bioshock games.
And where did you see a suitless BD in that trailer? There isn't any.
There's only the Brute, but that's a buffed splicer, not a BD.
I suggest visiting official forum for the game, there is much information about all this :)
And watching GTTV episode special about Bioshock 2 on gametrailers.com, where the lead developer says all this himself :)
