Wow... i can tell you did not play NFL 2k5... EA was affraid that the 2k series was going to take over.. because it was a better game... looked a hell lot better and was fun... hence why they steal all the ideas from it... madden is great.. but the NFL went with EA because they had the cash... ea felt it was better to get rid of the compitition...

Since 7600 DaysI STRONGLY recommend watching the video reviews for ALL of the games on Gamespot. Their reviewers do an excellent job of justifying their scores, and you get a great feel for what's good and bad about the game that way. You can stream the video reviews regardless of if you're a member or not and I cannot stress enough how important I feel it is that you do watch them. Also, if you're curious to know just what made the score what it is (which is a carefully calculated number from the different categories) go to the written review on the site and you've got scores for each aswell as a short pros and cons blurb.

They also have some impressions of PDZ that sound pretty positive, but I'd say the general feeling I get from the write up is in the 8.0-8.5 region. I think it's fair to predict that PDZ will have its fans, but just as many who are miffed that it doesn't play like Halo and that it's really a sequel to Perfect Dark. Greg Kasavin and Brad Shoemaker are handling the write up and subsequent review though, so the verdict is in extremely competent hands. The gamespot score will be the first to have any real impact on me.
Greg confessed to loving the soundtrack, so it's already in better hands there than on 1up and IGN where they refered to it as "bad euro-diva dance" and "porn music". I guess they really just watch a lot of porn.
