I'm trying to add a background now, but since I used white shapes to "cut out" the others, I'm stuck with a lot of blobbery white stuff around my characters. Is there a way to use a "neutral" colour that just cancels whatever is underneath it or something like that?

Unfortunately not from what I've seen. Being able to change a shape to a mask would have been ever so handy.

what course you doing?

I've ordered the LTD version and FF wheel and i can't see me spending much time on designs, mainly want to master the wheel with all assists off. Sure i'll get hooked like you guys once i get it on friday though:)

Well, after some fiddling I managed to replace all my sphere-made arcs with the premade curves to similar effect.

Updated the image aswell. Dunno why it turns out so dark on the photo, it's brighter ingame. Oh and I'm working on a background aswell and going for a Motorstorm feel. I'm pretty hooked on that game right now I have to say. (Also, a buggy doesn't need a body for the car, which would just mess up the pic I think.)

Anyone remember the Wind Waker car? It sold for around 3mil on auction house. Now, I own a copy :D! I've been staring at it for a while. Every time I look away I see it on the wall.

But I did another car based on a scene from Super Paper Mario.




I may add in Mario onto the other side and put the Super Paper Mario logo onto the hood.

I don't think the guy who designed that is Japanese, but he is indeed some kind of super human :o He did the MGS, Mugen, and the TP Link one.

Also, I'm surprised you didn't comment on the Jet Set Radio one, but after seeing the MGS one, it kind of does destroy everything else :p

Yeah, thing is I think I could make the JSRF one actually. No outlines and pretty much all very "polygonal" shapes I can manage.. but I look at ninja's hand.. and it's like.. the layers of.. and.. it's... argh.

I have no idea how a human being even starts believing he can do that in a reasonable amount of time.
