You can get a jump on next year by just putting Bioshock Infinite and GTA V as GOTY 2013.

I think I will do anther ranking based on how many games were mentioned in the top 6 regardless of the points. I can tell you for sure that dishonored appeared in people's top lists more than halo. However, Halo always occupied high positions hence why it has more points.

Ok, here is the ranking based on the number of mentions, Halo 4 wins again! It seemed to me like Dishonored was mentioned more but I guess I was wrong.

It's one of the best singleplayer campaigns this generation. I'm not surprised it's making so many people's lists.

And now my reaction to Halo 4 repeating as undisputed champion even with a second tallying of the numbers.

FINALLY!

#1 isn't deserved at all, but not surprising it's there either. The rest seems like a decent list except for ME3, which really shouldn't be that high up.

We had the hardest Xbot fanboys in the entire net. There used to be another forum called Playsyde and they'd go over there and troll PS3 games. When we became a multiplatform site we excommunicated the hardest of them. Only Optimusvs2 remains.

Halo 4 accolade is deserved. No other game released this year comes close, well apart from The Witcher 2, but that was actually first released in 2011.

I wish I hadn't been so lazy and put it 5th where it belonged, not that it would have made a difference. I just copied and pasted 5. Hotline Miami because I figured I was the only one who even mentioned it. Least mentioned game belongs to Natural Selection 2. But regardless, it wasn't until early 2013 that Halo 4 became a ghost town (and rightly so). But I digress, I would have never agreed with Halo 4 being GOTY over so many of those other games on that list. I'm glad other communities saw it clearly. For shame Gamersyde.

And for the record we wouldn't even talk about Halo 4 if Optimus didn't bring it up every day. I fear for this board when he plays a game that is actually great. Keep him away from the Bioshock series at all costs!
