Supposedly.. but it's a cash cow.. why stop now? Plus. "Wake you when you need me." suggests to me that there will be more Halo in the future.. and It will start Master Chef.

The way I see it, it's the end to this story.. but the way they handled it totally suggests that there could be more. I can't imagine they did that not expecting to return to the franchise in the future. Look at it this way -- it's the last Halo game -- but not the last Master Chief game!

Definitely it fits the description almost perfectly.

The way it lit up that is definitely the large number of sentinels protecting the place and it appears as if the shield may have come up. Thats what all the individual lights were. Remember they could combine into large groups and take out covenant capital ships so I wouldn't be surprised if the ship is about to get fired on.

Something tells me though that Cortana just might find a way to communicate with the AI on Onyx, it actually slips my mind if that AI is still there. I definitely believe she has a way of gaining access possibly without confrontation.

Negative, was that not in onyx, that planet is not onyx but the planet the went to using the portal in onyx .. or am i mistaken ? because they did not go in to great detail on that planet (the planet inside onyx)

I think it was? I mean wasn't Onyx the planet they trained the Spartan III's on? Or has it been to long since I've read the book that I have forgotten?!

Onyx is the name of the planet where the spartan III program took place on and where they were trained.

There is a micro dyson sphere at the very center of the planet and inside it is a planet pretty much that is many many more times the radius of earth. I think it was 250 times the radius of Planet Earth? Would have to look at book again to make sure.

On the outside its no bigger than a golf ball on the inside its massive. That place is called the shield world. Guilty Spark mentioned the Shield installation during Halo 3 :)

Master Chief will return in a new Japanese video game. "Halo no kachi wa san go" and it will feature the Chief without his helmet, and spiky yellow hair. You'll be reunited with new Spartans, and your mystery will be revealed.
