And why? Give me an example of a player that does something better that I need and isn't bloated with useless features and I'll check it out. Newer Winamp releases aren't very good, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the version I'm using. There's no reason that you have to run new software if it's all bullshit. "Get updated" isn't a compelling enough reason to change players.

Aaand.. That's why I still use Winamp. I gave Foobar a shot, but found it needed a lot of configuration. Customization is nice, if you feel like spending time with it, but I don't need the file-handling features and appreciate Wimap's simplicity in its earlier incarnations. My music is pretty organized via its directory/folder structure. I don't need iTunes or Foobar or whatever. I have an ipod touch and I don't even let iTunes manage that.
