Last sunday, I tried to transfer my holiday videos recorded with Canon HF 10 to my laptop, but these videos can not play normally on my laptop. What happened? Something wrong with my camcorder? I just bought it and I do not want to waste my money again.

I would try out VLC player to playback the files. That program usually plays all the files I have tried.

If it plays in VLC you are missing some codec for other players.
