2009-10-24 13:51:25 Tekken 6 BR - Matchup thread!

Ok so with less than a week to go until release, it's time to start listing who's getting it, on what platform, who wants to play and preferably any other relevant info, like character of choice and so forth!

As for me, i'm getting the 360 version (online works better for me on the 360). As usual i'll be playing as Anna and Paul, but i think i'm going to try and pick up another character. haven't quite decided who though. Maybe Yoshi.

So let's do it in this format and just fill the list up, gamer tag in parentheses:

He hates Virtua Fighter too. Don't listen to him.

I'm considering this.. but there are some other fighters I want more. I still have yet to really play BlazBlue, and I want SSF4... bad.

I will get it for the PS3 most likely at some point, its not a game on my must have list, fighters just don't have enough replay value for me these days, maybe i'll rent it.

Not quite sure why I'm buying it. I always get duped by these fighting games. You'd think I'd learn my lesson. Half the fun with Tekken was just parties at people's houses. Might cancel it now that I think about it. Bah it's already shipped.

I usually hate at fighting games, because i suck at them, but i just love Tekken.

Ugh, review up on GT. Sites like that should be banned from reviewing fighting games. They are all like "It plays the same!" What damn game have they been playing? I haven't tried it myself (release on friday over here) but i just assume that the bounding moves and incredibly nerfed combo damage will change the gameplay pretty radically :P Not to mention the rage mode.

I played it for a couple hours the other day on the 360 and thought it was very average.

I would compare it to Tekken 4 out of the ones I have played not played 5 thought.

Don't think I will be bothering with getting this now tbh, maybe bargin bin.
