Yeh, it looks great. The biggest thing though is that full levels will be made by anyone. Using practically anything. Made simple. Cannot wait!

Looks great. These guys did Rag Doll Kung Fu too, which is a pretty neat little game on Steam.

BWOOOIIIIZE FWOM YOOH GWAAAAVE!
*resurrects thread*
I'm so anal about keeping few threads around on the same game.
ANYHOO! I thought I'd give everyone a heads up about the song that played during the LBP trailer. It's called "Get it together" and it's performed by "The Go Team". If I wasn't worried about the mods cracking down on me I'd link to the mp3 on my server, but I'll refrain from doing so until somebody says it's alright, gives me a cookie and pats me on the head.
Do a search for The Go Team - Get it together and you'll prolly find it anyway.

The idea of creating your own levels filled with pretty much anything, the ultimate in customisation, and sharing them in an online youtube like interface doesn't excite you? 4 Player online and offline co-op?

most impressive arcade title we've seen to date. Also, will this be download off PSN only, or will they also release it on a disc?

Anyway, the song rocks, you should all hunt it down!

That's a bit disappointing really. I think a lot of the game's appeal comes from the ease with which you can just hop in and out of it (in theory anyway).
I hope that's INCORRECT Phae! I'll just close my eyes and wish that it's INCORRECT!!

I showed this game to my anti-ps3 friends when it first debuted and they were blown away. Its definitely a unique game.

COD 4's pre-alpha stage looks better than most game's gone gold stage.
Saying you cant find animaton in Japan is like saying you cant find food in Italy. Its simply not true.

HS/MGS4/White Knight and KZ2 are all titles i'm looking forward too. But LBP to me holds no interest whatsoever zzzzzzzzzz (and the same goes for MS vivapinta ect, my dislike for these type of games is worldwide baby!!)

I can understand dcdelgado's position, i tend to be more into games with more realisitic looking characters and settings, and less into the more cartoony games as well. But i have to admit this game looks great too.

I honestly don't have a problem at all with people admitting they don't find these types of games particularly exciting.
For me personally though, this was the killer app for me. I saw this and I knew I had to get a PS3 before this was coming out. The editor-turned-game with 4 player co-op, customizable characters and levels completely devoted to just messing around is such a heartwarming thing to me, and the design of the characters is so endearing I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the stage demonstration at GDC. Loco Roco brought tears to my eyes by the ice level, so suffice to say this strikes a certain chord with me.
And just as I can't really explain why, likewise I can't expect other people to share that with me without exception. :)

The LBP download will go like this from what I have heard:
1) Download to be the construction set, AND be paid for!
2) Disc version to be the same but with all the bells and whistles, aswell as the best user created content.

I have the feeling that Little Big Planet in the end, will be for sure a different audience than Killzone, but at the end of the day it could be as big a system seller as Killzone.
MS needs something like this. They are terribly lacking in a game of this nature and quality.

Brilliant stage demo of the game from Gamespot's live E3 coverage.
So effortlessly amazing. It really does sort of bend and test the boundaries of the term "videogame", but what a beautiful way to do so. :D
