lol ha GOW2 and BD2 they are VERY likely! Mass Effect 2 the devs start work on this soon as 1 is released in November, stated on the forums, the world is already in place so i betting 2008 late release is possible.

DC, that is, an, errr... interesting list. How do titles like Project Offset -- not even indicated to be an exclusive and the quality from a small upstart dev is totally unknown -- make your list and you overlook killer apps like Banjo 3, Halo Wars, Wolfenstein, Alan Wake, Fable 2, and so forth?

I have to agree that ME in 2008 isn't happening -- 1 year turn around for a company that is slow and only releases finished titles isn't gonna take their own, HUGE IP they have invested 4 years in and spam it on the market.

Oh, and NG2 is a good shot NOT to be an exclusive. Maybe timed, but Sigma has done enough on the PS3 and been a solid testing grounds for TN. With the much more competitive 360 and a slew of fighters flooding the 360 I think TN will need to broaden out.

I love it when people start hyping exclusives before the core game in a franchise is ever released. A lot of this 2008 talk is all just hearsay anyway.. especially when 2008 was sort of ignored by this camp at E3.

Bummer that Conviction got delayed, but with the crowded line up we see this year, I'm not sure it's really a big deal either. I can wait.

Not really.. alternatively I think the PS3 has very little lined up for 2007 -- but 2008 is sounding pretty promising. I'm not suggesting that 2008 won't be a good year for the 360 as well.. but we really don't know what it's going to be yet.

Confused, what do you mean? We do know there are quite a few titles lined up for 2008 of significance from MS: Splinter Cell 5, Fable 2, Halo Wars, Alan Wake, Wolfenstein, Too Human, and Banjo 3.

It's a good start, but it's no 2007.. personally I think the content they have lined up for the remainder of the year is much more interesting is all. I'm not sure 2008 is worth talking about yet without any concrete info -- except of course -- Splinter Cell, since it relates directly to this thread :)

I hope Wolfenstein is really in the pipes for 2008, but we haven't heard a thing out of Raven yet. It's sort of odd, since from what I've heard they're not using id tech 5. Oh, and Banjo is vaperware :)

i think 2008 will a very good year for MS software wise, but i think we all have to admit that the AAA titles they have for 2007 alone, has never been done before on any console ever!! this year has just worked out to be an amazing one for gamers.

Well, I think we were talking about console exclusives.. and all signs are pointing to RE5 in 2009 anyway. Plus I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to a lot of those releases, or 2008 releases in general to be honest.

And dcdelgado, I'm not sure if that's true or not (the best year evar) -- but it's sure shaping up to be a great one.. can't deny that. Every good year for gaming has people claiming it's the best ever.
