Naruto: Rise of a Ninja will be released today in the US, and on Friday in Europe, and this time we managed to get some videos out before the actual release. Let's hope this will be more often the case! Anyway, for a half linear and half sandbox game like Naruto nothing less than 5 videos will be necessary to show how everything works, but I'm sure the numerous fans of the series won't mind!
Update: All five videos are now online.

Naruto can't see tenketsu only Neji can so lets pray they meant Neji and not Naruto. I'm very very skeptical about this canceling of neji's technique and how it'll be handled. I hope this just means Naruto will be able to quickly jump out of Neji's range or something because if its anymore than that... I don't know.
It follows first 80 episodes up to the third hokages funeral pretty much. Great name choice then Naruto : rise of a ninja as during the fight against gaara naruto put on a nice little show there.
Another thing that bums me out is the fact that the fighting engine will be one on one :( I was hoping to get something sorta like Kotor for group fights, but I expected way too much :/

the one on one fighting is multiplayer.. the main game will probably have larger fights (episode 18/19 i'm looking at you)

1 on 1 is fine with me, i'm glad its not turn based as it wouldn't suit Naruto at all, group battle would be cool, but then not vey often did Naruto fight multiply enemies in the first part of the series.
I'm kind of hoping they will follow the game up with sequels if its sucessful.

You mean it doesn't get better? 15 eps in all I have is a headache. There's been a couple of OMG moments where music (awesome music!) kicks in, but then whenever they do something they spend 75% of the episode explaining what and how.
Oh and one fight has lasted about 10 episodes now.

it's got a bit of depth to it.... i don't have a problem with it. least it doesn't rush stuff and has a continous storyline. stick with it!

Yeah the pacing is absolutely horrific so far, but I attributed that to it being a page by page adaptation of the manga, and that once the manga picked up the anime would aswell.
The stuff you mention are things I've already found dreadful though. Perhaps it isn't worth bothering with...
Anyhoo, I usually watch it whilst eating anyway. Skipping intro, flashbacks and credits it's about 10 minutes per episode. Snack-sized. If it ever grabs me I suppose it.. um.. will. :)
