Sega Superstars Tennis

Sega released Sega Superstars Tennis in both America and Europe this week, on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS and Wii. Here is an gameplay video from the Xbox 360 version, showing a double's match on the great Samba De Amigo court. I included some of the hilarious special moves you can activate during the matches in the end of the movie, and I'll post some impressions and mini-game videos later.

Sega releases a big bunch of media for Sega Superstars Tennis - a dozen screenshots and four videos - showcasing the "Sonic" and "Samba de Amigo" stages on one hand, and the "Sonic" and "Chuchu Rocket" minigames on the other.

The blue hedgehog Sonic and other popular mascots join forces in Sega Superstars Tennis. Today, Samba Di Amigo tries to win over the Jet Set Radio challenge, and reminds me how much I'd like to see a new entry in this series.

Sega Superstars Tennis has been showcased in Paris earlier this week. We were there and grabbed a lot of screenshots, a lot of gameplay from the 360 version and even an interview with Steve Lycett, producer of the game that Pipomantis and I have assailed with stupid questions and bad accent.

Since Sega Superstars Tennis is now ready to ship, Sega decided to put online a launch trailer for the game. Looks like fun!

Sega released this new batch of images of Sega Superstars Tennis, from the Xbox 360 version (most certainly identical to the PS3 one) and from the Wii version too.

Sega released a new batch of images from Sega Superstars Tennis today, to be released on PS2, PS3, X360, Wii & DS in early 2008. Sumo Digital (Virtua Tennis 3, console Outrun 2) is the developer, the game will feature 15 playable characters and of course online mode on Xbox 360 and PS3.
