Gears of War 2

Microsoft just announced Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection, a retail collection of all the downloadable content to date plus 7 new multiplayer maps and one new campaign level playable either as usual, or stealthily. It will be released at the end of July for $19.99 or 14.99 euros and will also include some bonuses like a theme and other niceties. For those who already have all the DLC packs, the new maps and solo level will be available as a download for 1600 points, basically the same price as the retail one...

Microsoft released these new images and a trailer of the Snowblind Map Pack, to be released on March 31 for Gears of War 2.

The VGA trailers also got some company from Microsoft and Gears of War 2, showing the 3 new multiplayer maps in the Combustible DLC pack. It will be released today for a price of 800p, and the maps are named Gold Rush, Flood and Fuel Station.

It looks like Microsoft decided that the French press shouldn't do any videos of Gears of War 2 before its release and simply didn't send the game. So we had to wait until we could get it ourselves to record our good old first 10 minutes, with more to come as usual.

Gears of War 2 was of course playable only in multiplayer mode at the MGS, so here is a video of that mode.

The launch of Gears of War 2 is now only a week away, and here's a trailer from Epic celebrating that fact.

Microsoft and Epic released a 7th viddoc for Gears of War 2, where the developers spend quite a bit of time basking in their own glory.

Microsoft tries to outdo the excellent "Mad World" ad of Gears of War with this new video done by the same team. Gears of War 2 will be released in 2 weeks.

Microsoft's and Epic Games' Gears of War 2 is set to be released on November 7th in Europe, and here is a long interview covering it. Microsoft's XCN let several European websites submit questions for it, including us, and it ended up with a great variety of interesting questions. Answers are provided by Cliff Bleszinski and Rod Fergusson.

Epic Games just released the sixth video in their Behind the scenes series for Gears of War 2, this one naimed 'A Pixel Is Worth 1,000 Words'. It presents the graphics and is by far the most impressive video I've seen of the game. Keep in mind that they are showing different environments in the game, and some of them might be more fun to watch for the first time by yourself when you play the game. It's worth a short sneak peak though!
