Sega released these new images of Stormrise, which is set to be released at the end of next month on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The Creative Assembly is the developer, and the makers of Rome: Total War, so this might turn out really good. Worth mentioning is that these images seems to be from the PC version of the game.
Sega released a couple of new images of Stormrise, which is set to be released at the end of next month on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. For some reason they keep releasing these strange set of images, showing nothing but different control systems (today the "Whip select"). How about some epic battle images?
Update: Or even better, a new trailer! Added inside.
Sega is the first publisher this year to announce a new game just a few days before E3. It's a "consolified" RTS named Stormrise being developed by the Australian studio of Creative Assembly, and the main novelty is the ability to have units in the vertical plan, be it in the sky, on the rooftops or even under the ground. It's supposed to be released sometimes in 2009 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and you'll get the first screens inside. Update 2: 720p trailer.
@Moonwalker: stutter can be frame pacing related, which is seperate to fluctuating framerate stutters. NDS rivals was locked at 30fps and stuttered due to a frame pacing bug (14 minutes ago)
I just beat Cleric Beast! ;P (1 Hour ago)
@droezelke: me too. not too excited, i don't know what to expect lol i'll leave it downloading tonight (1 Hour ago)
and remove the stutter, cause except for the stutters, it feels smooth, if that makes sense. The blur of 30fps is gone and i like that. But i am jumpin to conclusions now. (2 Hours ago)
So they will have the fps locked at 30 on X1 with new patch, but also STILL looking into the stuttering? So we'll get locked 30fps still with stutters? I honestly rather have them keeping it unlocked (2 Hours ago)
