Here's a very "better late than never" video, featuring the demo of FromSoftware's Ninja Blade. It was released on the Japanese marketplace a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't been able to capture it until now. The game is a mix of pure action and QTE moments, and it looks and plays pretty good.

FromSoftware's & Microsoft's Ninja Blade is yet to have a official release date in Europe, but it's planned to hit the US at the end of March. I'm not sure if the following images are new, but we didn't have them in our database.

Microsoft and From Software updated the Japanese Ninja Blade official site and I've of course captured all of it: Long version of the TGS trailer, gameplay from the TGS demo and misc gameplay. The framerate issues in the trailer and the TGS demo gameplay are due to the original encoding.
Update: The trailer has been replaced by the HD version from the Japanese marketplace.

Update: Strangely lefourbe had no problem filming the game at From Software's booth. So here is a much more interesting video.

720p Ninja Blade images

Microsoft, who will publish the game outside Japan, released the images of Ninja Blade from a few days ago this time in 720p resolution, with a few more as a bonus.

What's up?

blmbox Yeah, but judging by the content of both reviews, Eurogamer didn't particularly care much for the game anyway. They probably only gave it an 8 to avoid controversy - the review sounded more like a 6. (29 minutes ago)

SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (2 Hours ago)
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (2 Hours ago)
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (2 Hours ago)
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (2 Hours ago)
