Risen

Deep Silver released Risen a couple of days ago, a game from the developers of the Gothic series, Piranha Bytes. Here's the First 10 Minutes, of a game that may be described as Oblivion lite edition. Unfortunately, the X360 version is a huge disappointment on many levels.

Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes released a teaser of the introduction of Risen, to be released this week on Xbox 360 and PC. It is obviously CG but it will give you a quick taste of the game's atmosphere.

Some new images of Risen have just been released by Koch Media and they're all from the PC version of the game. The character models may still look a bit rough around the edges but the island looks great. The new game of the makers of Gothic will be released in early October on PC and Xbox 360 and hopefully, it will suffer from fewer bugs than their previous game.

After a few months of silence Risen is back with this trailer using music by Nightwish.
