Our PC videos of The Cave

After the videos of the console version of The Cave, we now offer you the "first ten minutes" of the PC one.

Our videos of The Cave

For us old gamers, Ron Gilbert is above all the father of the Maniac Mansion series and the Monkey Island series, but he's also known for DeathSpank, a game that shares the same love for humor and burlesque. We don't know about you, but when we learned that the famous designer would be back with The Cave we immediately got interested. After being able to play the game for a few days, we can now tell you we were right. With its subtle mix of platforming and puzzles, this new game is a joy to play. You will laugh a lot thanks to its fantastic narrator (The Cave itself), you will think a lot thanks to its twisted - but nonetheless doable - puzzles, and you will have a lot of fun in this bizarre world. The game also has good replay value as each of the 7 playable characters has his/her own dedicated level. Check out our videos, or stay away from them if you want the satisfaction to solve everything on your own.

What's up?
  • Tinks
Tinks All in all though I think the competition has really brought some of the best tv since the 90's when it was Fox vs Nbc (4 minutes ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks Also I think it's just called Muppet Show. Not sure who's involved really (5 minutes ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks Last Week Tonight is solid but I'd never wait for it to come on. (5 minutes ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks True Detective and GoT are the only things I swear by on HBO. Montage of Heck was cool but imperfect (6 minutes ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke It might even be the other way round. HBO is trying to catch up with Netflix with their streaming service HBO Go. (39 minutes ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: me neither. But they are definitely competing with HBO. They do produce shows, they produce documentaries, animation series. So I would say they are a TV network AND a streaming service. (42 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just have a different take. Netflix isn't a TV network, and from nothing they've built a quality line up. I don't like every show on HBO either. (56 minutes ago)
