Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow should be out in about 3 weeks now, and Ubisoft sent a preview build to a lot of sites. Here are 80 screens of the very original multiplayer mode of the game.
Thanks to xbox-mag !
Since this morning there is a rumor everywhere on the forums about an exclusivity of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow on the Xbox. Being the great journalist I am (joking...) I contacted my friend at Ubisoft and he confirmed that indeed the game seems on track for an exclusivity, but not for the reasons everyone thought. In fact it's quite simple, the PS2/GC version is taking much longer to finish than the Xbox one (just like for the first Splinter Cell in fact). So it looks like the game will be available first on the Xbox at the official date, then a few weeks later on the other platforms. As far as he could tell there is no financial exclusivity there.
I'm waiting for him to call back to get more informations. Update : UBI Soft officially denies that the PS2 and NGC versions of the games will be late. I'll recontact my friend as soon as possible to know what's going on exactly. If there is no report then excuse me for spreading a false rumour. Update 2: Ubisoft just announced in his trimester results that both NGC and PS2 versions of the game are indeed postponed. Only the PC and Xbox versions will be out on the 25th of March !
Ubisoft just released a new trailer of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, the best way for us to make sure the game is indeed a good looking Xbox game contrary to the screens from yesterday. Just check it.
@Moonwalker: nice!! Ive heard cheevos have just been released as well. Will have a look later. So hyped!! (1 Hour ago)
Let's see the actual patents, and then tear them apart. I don't care to contemplate what is and isn't fair, about what could or could not be the case. (2 Hours ago)
No, I didn't ignore that. I just said that all of this speculation is pointless without more information. It still is. (2 Hours ago)
Better yet, is it even alright to try and patent those two things? Anyone can see it's a desperate move from Capcom, but only if such a person actually wants to see it as it is. (2 Hours ago)
Can you think of any game that lets players unlock content from a previous game into a new title? And can you think of any game that makes the controller vibrate when enemies are close? (2 Hours ago)
What is implied is: Capcom's 2002 patent is for a system that lets players unlock content from an older game in a new title. Also for a patent that makes a controller vibrate when enemies are close. (2 Hours ago)
@GriftGFX: Since you didn't take into account my last sentence in my last comment and cherry picked what to respond - just like a troll - let me put it clearly: IF what's implied is TRUE, then it's BS (2 Hours ago)
