Our Switch videos of Skyrim

If you have never played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or the Special Edition which came out last year on PS4, Xbox One and PC, you might be interested in the Switch version, which will allow you to play anywhere in handheld mode. Obviously, the game looks quite dated on a TV screen, but when playing in portable mode, it is quite nice to look at. Check out our 2 videos of the game and feel free to share your opinion on this new port.

GC: Skyrim Switch handheld videos

Miguel's excitement went through the roof when he got his hands on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on Switch. The game is perfectly smooth in handheld mode and the game looks pretty good this way.

Skyrim SE takes advantage of 4K

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has struck us as one of the few titles showing obvious imrpovements in image quality thanks to the higher resolution. Ratchet and Clank and, to a lesser extent, Rise of the Tomb Raider, have also benefited from the jump. Here is a video of the PS4 port of this iconic Bethesda game.

Our PS4 videos of Skyrim SE

After 5 years of absence, The Elder Scrolls series is back on PS4, Xbox One and PC, but instead of a sequel, we are given a port of the fifth episode with enhanced graphics and the addition of mods in the console versions (limited to what can be done with the original assets on PS4). The Elder Scrolls V: Special Edition still runs at 30 fps on Xbox One and PS4, but this time, the frame-rate is steady, making it a more pleasant experience than on 360 and PS3 5 years ago. Check out our videos inside to see what the game looks like on Sony's console.

KORNdog Shazam looks ok. Aquaman looks dire. But at least he gets to do something in a movie that he’s in. (1 Hour ago)
