Resonator Games, comprised of industry veterans Jeff Spoonhower and Steve Copeland, launched yesterday the Kickstarter campaign for Anew: The Distant Light with a $30,000 goal. Revealed a bit more than a year ago, the title is an open-world action game that takes place on a distant alien moon where players control a child who is tasked with a crucial mission but only has limited resources. It features huge and various locations, upgradable home ship, weapons and equipment, machines and vehicles to pilot, metroidvania structure and a soundtrack composed by Wilbert Roget II.
