Test Drive: Unlimited

Atari seems to finally be announcing the big gun manufacturers in Test Drive Unlimited, today presenting Audi and McLaren F1 in the game with these two trailers. It's a totally different feeling when you see the city Audi car rolling down on the streets, compared to the usual sport cars. Great stuff!

The next manufacturer to be announced for Test Drive Unlimited is Nissan, presented with this trailer. Atari also announced that a new demo will be released on the Marketplace tomorrow, and that the E3 demo was downloaded over 200 000 times! More info about the demo inside.

Atari is always here to announce a new car manufacturer for Test Drive Unlimited, and this time it's Maserati with the good old 3500 GT and the brand new and shiny MC12. Images inside, but also a new video showing the MC12 in action. I really want to check this game again now!

Atari keeps annoncing new car manufacturers for Test Drive Unlimited Weekly, this time it's Jaguar with no less than 4 cars: Jaguar XK Coupe, Jaguar XK Convertible, XJ220 and XKR.

Atari announced yesterday evening that Noble would also be in the now very prestigious roster of car manufacturers in Test Drive Unlimited, with their M12 GTO-3R, M14 and M400. Images inside.

Atari today announced Alfa Romeo as the lastest name in their line of manufacturers in Test Drive Unlimited, giving the two cars Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and Alfa Romeo GT Coupe V6 the honor to be in the game.

I've been invited a few weeks ago to a private presentation of Test Drive Unlimited. Due to some unfortunate and pretty stupid technical issues I've not been able to film the game (100% my fault) so you won't get any footage of our multiplayer races, sorry about that. I've still managed to get a rather nice interview with Alexis Madinier, designer of the game, fully transcribed inside. I did not have time to translate it in english yet, but this will be done tomorrow. Just stare at the pretty pictures, most of them old, in the meantime ;)

Saleen is the next manufacturer to be featured in Test Drive Unlimited, with the car model S7. Atari released some images (with more to come today/tomorrow) and a great trailer, showing the release date 5th of September for the US. A new boxart was also unveiled recently.

This week's car announcement for Test Drive Unlimited is the manufacturer AC, with the cars AC Cobra 289 and AC Cobra 427 featured in the game. As usual did Atari release some images with the cars.
