Top Spin 2

I had a few minutes to waste tonight so I decided to capture the 720p version of the Top Spin 2 trailer available on Xbox Live Marketplace since a few days ago. I personally can't wait to try playing this one.

Top Spin 2 is finally back in motion with this trailer showing some of the players animations.

Top Spin 2 is back with these 43 720p images. The tennis courts and other backgrounds look quite good, but the players themselves are not really impressive.

2K Sports just released these 10 images of Top Spin 2. It looks great, especially compared to how was at E3 last year. Seems like they've removed some of the aliasing.

I'm finally back from the X05. I do not have as much videos as originally planned because of a very busy schedule today, but still there should be enough footage to keep my PCs busy with encoding tomorrow. So while I'm working on the videos, here are my quick impressions of the games there.

A few weeks ago 2K Games invited us and the other sites not lucky enough to have been at E3 to discover some of their upcoming Xbox 360 games. Top Spin 2 was the main attraction for us frenchies, but it was still the same limited version that was displayed at the expo a few weeks before. These 5 new images of the game are also captured on the alpha hardware, and the developers have promised a lot of new eye candy for the final version to be released with the system at the end of 2005, like anti-aliasing (of course) and also better looking tennis courts and player models.

Top Spin is one of my most played game this generation, thanks to an excellent 4 players mode. Seeing its sequel on Xbox 360 is a very good news for me, even if the version shown at E3 and in this trailer is very obviously buggy and far from finished.

Top Spin 2 does not really impress for the moment, but it was also the case of the first Top Spin when it was first presented at E3 a few years ago. With PAM still working on the game there is hope it will at least be as fun as the first one, and that would be enough for me!
