Stranglehold video

Yea I know it is a little bit old, but I figured some people could be interested by this video of the downloadable expansion pack for Stranglehold on the Xbox 360. Too bad no one is playing it online, but it's still worth a look if you like action games.

GC07: Trailer of Stranglehold

Midway reveils the superb launch trailer of Stranglehold, due to be released in a few weeks. If we are to believe the first reviews, the game seems to live up to its hype, which should be an excellent news to all action fans.

Stranglehold 360 demo video

As you are certainly aware by now the Xbox Live Marketplace demo of Stranglehold is available since yesterday, and we took the time to capture and encode a long and rather large video. Personally I've really enjoyed playing the demo, and I think I'll be able to replay it a dozen of times without getting bored. The game may think really messy while watching it, but it's definitely a title you have to play. Also a special mention for the cutscenes, quite well directed and making me want to see more. The first great John Woo "movie" since Hardboiled?

Midway released this trailer of Stranglehold unveiling the weapon arsenal at the disposal of the infamous Inspector Tequila. Enough to break a few buildings.

E3: Stranglehold trailer

The trailers keep coming with this time Stranglehold, a game that doesn't seem to have impressed as much as I thought it would at this E3.

E3: Stranglehold gameplay

Midway showcased a playable demo of Stranglehold at the Barker Hangar. Here's a video filled with heavy gunfights and a lot of extremely Woo-ish finishing moves, as well as a bullet-dodge sequence in slow motion that just looks awesome.

Mug shot of Mr Stranglehold

Midway put online these images of Inspector Tequila, the main character in Stranglehold. There has been so much talk about the story and the characters, so I've always been so disappointed when seeing how the main character looked so bad video after video. Seems like it's not the case anymore, as these face shots look really awesome.

  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (40 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (44 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (46 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (46 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (56 minutes ago)
  • callmekymbo
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (1 Hour ago)

SimonM7 Wow, deja vu. (1 Hour ago)
