CD Projekt RED has released some news screens of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The game will be out on May 17 2011 on PC, while the console build is still unspecified.
It looks pretty incredible with the 3D looking grass and all, who knows...maybe its real. I just hope a console version will eventually come cause i surely won't be running this on my laptop,lol.
there is absolute NO way a console version will look like this ... at least not this gen... simply a stunner, but I cross all my fingers for an nice console port anyway.
Oh of course in no way is the console version gonna look as good, but i am sure it's possible. Didn't the developer recently say it was 'doable' this game on console?
These shots are bullshots since they are so dramatic with camera angles and stuff, but i think it will look basically this good if you have a decent gaming PC. A little more doubtful on the 360 and PS3 front though.

I hope we'll see it sometime on the consoles. But i'm not gonna put too much hope in it, cause at the end of the day, the first one got canned for the console as well, so we'll see.
If there are console ports they will be no where as impressive visually. These newer video cards are leaving the 360 and PS3 in the dust. I think it's funny how people drool over KZ2 and Uncharted2. I've had games that easily look better than both of these for quite a while now. This game will have to be chopped to hell to get it running on consoles.
