Halo 2 : Live coop mode confirmed ?

Halo 2 : Live coop mode confirmed ?

On the australian version of Xbox.com, you can find a very interesting flash animation (see captures). That's not an official confirmation yet, but it seems a lot like it :)
Update : The OXM Halo 2 review indicates that the game does NOT support coop by Xbox Live. Very disappointing.

Aww...There is no lazy link...
Now I have to go to the site the harder way, =P

But I think what they mean by choice B is that on multiplayer, since you can choose to play as an elite alien, you are surrounded by those enemies (if you are playing as MC).

OXM said NO to Co-op in their review. They gave it a 9.7 tough, the best score they have given any game.

OXM does reviews about a month or two before the game is released. Halo 2 just recently went gold so that means they did not have the final version...
It would be really awesome if online story mode co-op was available, but I doubt it. If it is available, Bungie kept that info under big wraps and will be a good surprise to us fans.

Hmm I see you updated the page, hmm as syphon0928 says it could be true. We will just have to wait and see.

Well. Microsoft has addressed this rumor and stated that Live! Co-Op is not available. Which is a real bummer. Halo 2 can sell A LOT more than it will if that feature was implemented. But maybe we can hope that the dev's eventually release a download that can let you play co-op online.

No Online Co-op in Halo 2

It's very disapointing (to say the least) but I sincerely doubt it will change much of the sales numbers.

Multiplayer system link games, online games, solo campaign and co-op sessions are underway and literally everyone on the team is helping out in one way or another.

  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (4 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (4 Hours ago)
