Ubisoft releases 11 screenshots of Call of Juarez, its 360 port of Techland's PC game. For those who knew the original game, the graphical upgrade is obvious. But that's not it, since the developers have worked extra time to add a lot of stuff in this console port. Not in any particular order: there'll be three brand new levels, stealth-based levels have been rebuilt so that you are no longer forced to hide (according to most of those who played the original game, these levels were absolutely boring), we'll be able to ride on horse in multiplayer, and finally there'll be Duel Mode in which you fight bosses once beaten, but now with time attack. Not bad for a port :) Update: Added a gameplay video.
And I think the gameplay that is there is pretty janky and pretty shallow. (6 minutes ago)
I get that you think Skyrim is crap, but The Witcher 3 aint "a good version of Skyrim" because they have totally different goals. TW3 doesn't even attempt half the systems that Skyrim does. (6 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: Nah, that's *really* not all there is to it. You're comparing a broken apple with a poorly designed orange. (15 minutes ago)
It’s gameplay is objectively worse. As are it’s quests, narrative and lore. Skyrim was shit. (52 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: ones broken, one isn’t. That’s all there really is to it. For all your whining about shit combat in Witcher, i don’t really see how you could possibly give elders scrolls a pass? (54 minutes ago)
"The updated GameWorks SDK, coming soon, includes ray-traced area shadows and ray-traced glossy reflections.". and this is what they say will be in a game this year. Not full, pure, 100% raytracer. (1 Hour ago)
@droezelke: not sure i follow you there. The tech MS has in DXR, and Nvidia supports with their so called RTX hardware support is not fully raytraced rendering, but as nvidia says in their own blog: (1 Hour ago)
