Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary aside, Halo 4 is the first big original project Microsoft trusted 343 Industries with. Quite a challenge considering this will be the first new Halo game not developed by Bungie, which will clearly make fans even harder to please. Visually, today's images seem to indicate they are on the right track, though we should probably add a bit of aliasing to get a more accurate idea of what to expect in-game.
@Tiz: burnout paradise is the only open world racing game i've ever enjoyed tbh. God i'd love a new PGR (1 minute ago)
@GriftGFX: The experience you have with a game trumphs everything, and that depends on semanthics. You would have a better experience with 60fps, I would have one with more immersion, different tastes (1 minute ago)
@Sdarts: where the AC games no doubt had a more solid framerate (2 minutes ago)
@bleachedsmiles: They probably felt more comfortable developing with 30fps in mind. I think before PGR3, the only racing game I enjoyed playing was Burnout. (3 minutes ago)
I'm not focusing so much on graphics, but on the experience, and graphics do help immensely in that department - at least for me. Loved the AC games and had a great experience because I played on PC. (3 minutes ago)
So that much is not subjective, nor are we banging our heads against semantics. (4 minutes ago)
@rayy: True, but framerate is directly tied to gameplay. Graphics, especially at the scale we're measuring things, isn't. (4 minutes ago)
